Spybot Search & Destroy

1) To Download this program click here.  Then click open to install the program.

3) At the Welcome Screen click next.

4)  Accept the License Agreement and click next.

5) These settings are fine.  Click next to continue.

6)  Click on the drop down box and change it to "Compact installation (no additional languages)" to install only English.  Then click next.

7)  Accept all the defaults on the next few screens and click next to install the program.  When the install is complete click on the Spybot Search & Destroy icon on the desktop.  Then click on "Search for Updates".

8) When the updates are received click on "Download updates".

9)  Now that you have all the latest updates you can now scan your computers.  To do that click on the Search & Destroy icon located on the left.  Then click on "Check for problems" to scan your computers.

10)  When the scan is complete a list of problems will be listed on the next screen.  Make sure that the check box is checked on all the problems found.  To fix the problems click on the "Fix selected problems" button.

11)  It will then prompt you if you are sure you want to remove these items.  Click "yes" to remove.

12)  That's it!  All the problems should have a green check mark next to them meaning you have successfully removed any potential problems.
